Kursha is cuddly and calm when she feels safe and feisty and assertive when she feels a need to protect what’s hers.
As Kursha is a tiny girl, these behaviors come from her time on the street – as small dogs always feel a need to be a little louder, look and sound more fierce than they are, in order to have their share of resources and avoid being hurt. Local residents asked for her to be relocated, but an unknown street/area for a small dog is a death sentence. So Kursha was brought to D.O.G.
She is an incredibly fun character, loves people, and gets on well with most dogs – even large dogs, as long as they’re calm and respectful. Enjoys going for walks on leash. Perfectly suited for a small apartment: think Chihuahua, only slightly larger. Think cuddle all day long!
Living among the many dogs at the shelter, Kursha still feels she’s got to be a gremlin sometimes. Are you the human to make her feel safe and secure as a snuggle-bunny all the time?
