Rosie and Pitna were born in a holiday village outside of Tbilisi, to a stray dog. Fortunately for them, a dog loving household – Sandro and his lovely family – were caring for this little dog family while they stayed in the village during the summer. When Sandro moved back to Tbilisi, we accepted the puppies in the shelter as it was obvious they were too small and the village did not have enough resources for the them to survive.
Rosie and Pitna have been growing up as inseparable twins ever since, until Rosie had the chance to leave to the US to a partner organization.
Pitna is initially a little shy with people, but that soon disappears and then she is all about cuddles. She is a very gentle dog, never a bad thought, gets on well with every other dog, even our cats.
