We just LOVE when our ex-residents check in and we get to see all the fun they have in their new homes.
This is the infamous Coska conquering the US of A with his new crew!

i m happy for dog and owner, owner got best friend.🐾

We find all aspects of our work important – mass neutering and vaccination of street dogs, educating the next generation of dog lovers, raising public awareness around issues related to street dogs and rescuing dogs – however the most heartwarming part is certainly when we find loving homes for our dogs.
Fortunately we had an exceptionally successful year in this regard, with homing a dog or pup almost every week in 2020.

And now we have these two incredibly cute pups that need help with finding their forever families.
Both of them were rescued by caring volunteers and will soon have to find their new foster families or forever homes.

Please contact us if you would like to adopt either of them or you could provide a temporary place for them (in which case all expenses will be covered)!

Dog organization Georgia

Last Saturday we had our third “Tails and Trails” hike with our wonderful volunteers and dogs.
As a monthly tradition now, this event is about bringing our friends together and enjoying the scenic area around the shelter but in a responsible manner, in line with all current government regulations.
Since the health and safety of our volunteers is very important to the D.O.G. Team, we decided not to organize any indoor event this summer, and even our outdoor gatherings were strictly limited.
However, our brilliant Melanie came up with the perfect idea that allows us to still do something together, although physically apart – on the last weekend of every month our friends and volunteers gather in groups of 10 and go for an easy but beautiful hike around the Lisi hills, each of them walking a shelter dog.
This time it was a light trek along the ridge of the main hill behind the shelter, up to an almond orchard and just look at the view that we had!
A big THANK YOU to Melanie for her effort and thank you to everyone who participated.
We will definitely continue this tradition every month if restrictions allow.
Keep an eye on our Facebook feed to find out when and where we will go next! ❤️
